With so many specialties to choose from, many prospective nurses find it difficult to just pick one, but with nearly every specialty requiring candidates to pass a series of exams and fulfill a period of on-the-job training, time is of the essence!

These are the list the top ten highest paying nursing jobs in their field, Salaries depend on their range or field of specialty.

2) Nurse Researcher - $95,000

3) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - $95,000

4) Certified Nurse Midwife - $84,000

5) Pediatric Endocrinology Nurse - $81,000

6) Orthopedic Nurse - $81,000

7) Nurse Practitioner - $78,000

8) Clinical Nurse Specialist - $76,000

What to Expect in NCLEX-PN Exam
To work as a nurse in the United States one must pass the NCLEX exam. It has two sets the NCLEX (registered nurse) and the NCLEX-PN (practical nurse). The NLEX assess an individual nursing ability, knowledge and skills in order to take the exam an application for license has to be filled with the board of nursing, for registration a fee has to be paid.

Individual who are taking the test must bring an identification card such as a driver license.
Follow rules and regulations regarding the exam, such as what things are not allowed to bring.
Your attendance is required 30 minutes before the exam and brings all required documents.

The NCLEX exam can be taken year round the results will be released by individual State Boards. If you pass you become a licensed nurse and if you fail you can take the test again after 3 months.
